Canyon Barry, youngest son of Rick Barry, will play for Bobby Cremins at College of Charleston.

“I’ll probably give coach Cremins some more gray hairs,” Canyon said Monday evening. “I’m definitely excited to play for him.”

Cremins coached Canyon's half-brothers Jon and Drew while at Georgia Tech.

Cremins won the recruiting battle over Miami and Davidson.

“Bobby saw what happened with two of my boys, saw the way they played and really felt Canyon would be a great player for him,” Rick said. “He really went after him.

Tonye Jekiri has committed to Miami.

Jekiri, a 6-foot-10 center from Hialeah Champagnat Catholic, chose Miami over Virginia Tech, Clemson and George Mason.
